Trish Sisson
Although a native of New York City, Trish Sisson grew up in Miami, FL where she began singing for her supper at age 16. She’s been blessed to earn a living as a vocalist and entertainer ever since. From dinner theatre to casino showroom, from cruise ship feather-and-sequin variety show to street dances on flatbed trucks, from the piano bar circuits of Philly and Fort Lauderdale to the state fair and county festival circuit of the upper Midwest -- Trish has sung it all! She has performed with artists including Barry Gibb and Nell Carter at fundraising events. She has been the 'warm-up act' for Ben Vereen, Don Rickles, and Loretta Lynn. Her experience with pop, classic rock, show tunes, disco, contemporary country, and jazz standards is insurmountable. She has been both band leader and jingle singer. As a songwriter her original "Have a Heart" has been used to raise awareness for issues like homelessness and for organizations like AIDSWalk Miami, Children’s Cancer Society, and the Minnesota Visiting Nurse Association. A consummate multi-purpose vocalist, Trish’s true passion has always been cabaret. She is thrilled to join TCCAN where she can reconnect to this form of self-expression with warm, welcoming, and talented peers.
