Dorothy Doring
Dorothy is a full-time music teacher for the Saint Paul Public Schools. Based in the Twin Cities, her life and work is balanced by an active career as a Professional Singer. Dorothy has performed all her life and currently does performances for both private and public events.
Her repertoire is an eclectic mixture of songs including cabaret, country, rock, blues and jazz. Doring recorded a jazz CD in New Orleans entitled SOUTHERN EXPOSURE with arranger and producer David Torkanowsky. The CD was nationally released in 2008 and was honored to be on the 51st GRAMMY ENTRY Nomination BALLOT in the category of "Best Jazz Vocal Album." www.dorothydoring.com
